Industrial robots working alongside people

Robots that keep working, safely, around people.

01

Ports

Move containers at full speed, safely alongside your crew.

Container terminal with autonomous mobile robots moving containers in mixed traffic
Challenge

Today’s robots stop for anything in their path.

Every stop is a lost move, and across a shift those stops become penalties.

Solution

Robots running our layer route around them instead.

The full end-to-end autonomy stack predicts where each person will move, finds a path around them, and keeps going at full speed.

Live deployment. Autonomous mobile robots moving containers point to point in mixed traffic.

02

Shipbuilding

Shipyard where the site layout changes between shifts

Keep robots working safely as the site changes around them.

Challenge

Factory automation assumes the layout holds still.

In most industries, it doesn’t. Scaffolding goes up overnight, a metal plate gets added, creating a new walkway, a section moves before the next shift.

Solution

Robots running our layer adapt to your site in real time.

Our full end-to-end autonomy stack predicts where people and objects will move, holds clearance in real time, and keeps working as the layout changes around it, with any robot, on any site.

Live deployment. A humanoid navigating a human environment.

03

Airports

Autonomous ground vehicle working beside an aircraft on an active airfield

Full-speed ground handling on an active airfield.

Challenge

One wrong move can cost a hundred million dollars in damages.

On an active airfield, a single collision could cost hundreds of millions and halt operations. Insurers will not cover autonomous ground vehicles without a certifiable safety case, so deployment stalls.

Solution

Robots running our layer prove they stay clear.

The robot holds a certifiable exclusion zone around every aircraft, wingtip to tail, and recalculates it as crew and ground vehicles move. That gives the insurer a safety case, and gives you autonomy that clears the pilot stage.

Expanding into

The same problem, wherever machines move through people.

The environments change completely. What the robot has to solve does not: a person in the way, and no case for moving anyway.

01

Data centers

Robot passing technicians in a data centre cold aisle

A live hall never stops for a robot.

Rounds happen while technicians are working the same cold aisle. A machine that halts for every person it meets turns a scheduled round into an open-ended one. Ours plans around where each technician is heading, so the round finishes on time.

Environment

Cold aisles and live halls

Task

Inspection rounds, thermal survey, hardware moves

Constraint

Technicians working the aisle the robot has to pass

02

Automotive

Robot delivering parts line-side on a vehicle assembly floor

Take the fence out of the cycle time

Final assembly separates people from machines with a physical guard, because a fence is what gets a line signed off. A robot that forecasts the person beside it holds its own clearance, inside a boundary the people who certify the line can read.

Environment

Final assembly and trim lines

Task

Line-side parts delivery, in mixed traffic

Constraint

Cell fencing and manual stations on the same floor

03

Oil, gas and energy

Robot on an inspection round across live industrial plant

Inspection where sending a person is the last resort.

Live plant makes the strongest case for autonomy and the hardest case to certify. Crews are working the ground the machine has to cross. The envelope it plans inside is formally defined, specified once, and written to be read by an auditor.

Environment

Live plant, substations, remote and unmanned sites

Task

Inspection rounds and gauge reading

Constraint

Crews crossing the route, and a case that has to be signed
